Dustin has been with the family agency since 2012. He became the owner in 2017 and devotes much of his time to commercial insurance and life insurance. Dustin serves on the Personal Lines Task Force for Erie Insurance, which is an agent-advisory council representing the interests of Erie Insurance agents and customers in North Carolina on a company-wide level.

Outside of Deal Insurance, his greatest joy is spending time with his wife, Whitney, and their three young daughters. He is also heavily involved in the Wilkes County business and non-profit community and his church, where he serves as a worship leader. Dustin holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from North Carolina State University.
